West Norfolk 42 - Swaffham 14 18 Feb 2007
In this second encounter for these two teams this season, West proved that they were the top team. Their power in the pack pushed the Swaffham forwards both in scrums and mauls, they worked their backs so they always had an overlap.
Swaffham managed to break through once in the first half when M Fountaine ran through between the centres from the fullback position to score, Terzza converted.
In the second half again Fountaine made a solo run side stepping several West Players to score under the posts again Terzza converted. Swaffham Man of the Match M Fountaine
Swaffham U16 24 Holt U16 10
Holt scored the first points putting their winger over the line to score. Swaffham fought straight back & within 2 minutes of the restart the ball was fed along the backs line to the outside centre Atkin, who kicked through. This was collected by the Holt full back, but before he could make a move, was niled by the Swaffham inside centre Clarke who then went on to collect the ball. Between him and the blind side flanker Jode they rolled a maul across the line and Jode went down to score. Terzza converted.
Swaffham went further ahead before the break and from a ruck they passed to winger Blake who ran around the defence to score in the corner.
In the second half Swaffham applied pressure once again and from a 5M scrum, Hamilton picked up from the back and powered over to score. Holt fought back and broke through the Swaffham defence to narrow the score to within a try and a convertion, but Swaffham were having none of this and opened the score line again when from a penalty 10M out, Hamilton stretched out to place the ball on the line after breaking through a tackle to score, Terzza again converted bringing the final score to 24-10 in favour of the home team Swaffham. Swaffham U16 40 - Beccles U16 19 (22/10/06)
From the start it was obvious Swaffham were out to turn the cards on the last encounter between these teams when Beccles well and truly beat them on their home ground.
Winger Terzza opened the score sheet with a solo run from half way, which he then converted. Clarke powered over for a second try for the Swaffham boys, which Terzza converted. Terzza scored twice more before the break with Beccles making a try between the last two.
The second half saw Beccles fight back and score to bring the score 26 –12 to Swaffham. Swaffham came back again and Barnard broke through to score, Terzza converted. Swaffham went further ahead when full back Fountaine made a run from the Swaffham 22m line. Beccles made one more try when one of the smallest guys on the field wove through the Swaffham defence to score.

West Norfolk U16 54 - 12 Swaffham U16
The visitors to the Swaffham ground proved early on in the first half that they were a well drilled team and piled on the points in the first half of the game.
After making some changes at half time the Swaffham boys looked better and held their own in the second half scoring 2 tries both almost identical but the ball being passed in the opposite direction, from penalties. Scrum half Atkin ran across the field, then passing to the outside man who ran into score, Matechell and Carter respectively the scorers, Terzza converted the second.

Beccles U16 48 - Swaffham U16 7
Due to lack of commitment from Swaffham team members 9 players travelled to Beccles where the opposition were very accomodating and loaned players to make 2 even teams of 14. Beccles soon showed that they were to be on top of the game against a team of players who had not gelled as a team.
By half time the home team were 38/0 up. The second half saw a bit of an upturn and Swaffham started to play as a team a swift movement of the ball from Scrum half along the backs line to outside centre Terrza who ran in to score. Perch converted.
Beccles fought back to score 2 more tries before the final whistle mmaking a final score of 48/7 to the home team. Swaffham man of the Match fly half Carter.
Holt U16 -27 V Swaffham U16- 15
Swaffham went ahead early in the game; from a 5m scrum they passed the ball right, then suddenly switched left and winger Matechell ran in to put the visitors 5/0 up.
Holt fought back and evened the score from a line out near the Swaffham line. Before the break Holt ran another try in putting them up 10/5 at the break.
The second half saw both teams attacking Swaffham had a try held up and from the scrum Holt cleared the line. In quick succession Holt put 2 more tries in, converting 1, opening their lead to 22/5. Swaffham fought back and from a scrum, using the blind side put the winger Matechell in again to close the score line to 22/10. Holt then had a try held up and after some hard fought defence they broke through to score. Heads held high Swaffham fought back and with some slick ball handling fed the ball again to the left-winger Matechell, who ran in bringing the final score to 27/15 to the home team. Swaffham man of the match went to scrum half Joel who improved as the game went on.
