| Spartans scored two early tries through the pace of their scrum half which saw them take a 14 - 0 lead after 5 minutes. A bit of slap and tickle in the front row which the lads sorted and a try dissallowed for Ethan as he dropped it over the line. Good defence and tackling but rucking poor and mauling non existent. Tries by Ethan and Brendan brought us level and then Spartans went in front again. Another try by James took us level again and then a charge by James, offloaded in contact to Ethan who ran 30 yards to score in the last seconds. Won 28 - 21. |

| A good strong start with an early try setting up a 7 - 0 lead. Broadstreet came back with some good rucking where Stoke were quite weak and levelled the scores.. The scrum was sound showing good improvement from previous week. Also the backs were organising the defensive line better and the ball movement was better. Stoke again went ahead with a good try by Regan but Broadstreet stuck at it to level the score with a fair final result. Stoke finished very strong challenging the try line to the last whistle. |
