Keith Kent, Head Groundsman at Twickenham, visits Staffordshire RU
Staffordshire hosted a "Running Rugby Forum" for its County Clubs at St Leonards Club Stafford on January 10th 2007.
Keith Kent, Head Groundsman at Twickenham, gave club volunteer grounds staff his advice on how to manage and maintain their club pitches to ensure that they are playable throughout the winter months.
Keith also spoke about the problems of ensuring that the pitch at Twickenham is playable, given the lack of sunlight with the high stands and also how the pitch recovers after a Rolling Stones concert on the pitch.
In addition, Keith talked about his 15 years at Old Trafford
 
Prior to his presentation, Keith had visited both Cannock RFC and Stafford RFC and given practical advice to the volunteer ground staff at both clubs
