Sale Rugby Club—Founded in 1861 and situated at Heywood for 100 years, have a long history of both top level rugby aswell as more recently having its renown training ground facility, home of Sale Sharks. From its heyday in the 1970’s, Sale FC is now committed to being a fully integrated community club and in 2008 introduced the “Sale Scorpions” a mini & Junior section into its portfolio, producing the next generation of rugby stars.
Heywood Road—Still remaining is its stadia from the Sale Sharks professional era, and we regularly have fixtures/events with attendances of over 2,000. The facility is flexible in its uses, ranging from music festivals, representative rugby matches.
Functions— We can offer various packages to suit all functions/events, our clubhouse has three main function rooms for all size of events, parties, business clubs/meetings both large or small. It has a downstairs bar area with ample seating for 130 guests and an upstairs bar area for another 60 with a panoramic view of the pitch, ideal for sponsors on game/event days.
