The club was founded in 1982 as Prudhoe Hospital RUFC and changed its name when it moved to its present address in approximately 1998.
The club runs a single side which plays in the Northumberland Junior Leagues having formerly been in N&D Division 4.
The club have won the Northumberland Junior Shield three times in the last five years and whilst holding a very small playing squad are always keen to welcome new players.
A number of the current squad are in their early or mid twenties and join the club having not played rugby since their schooldays. These players benefit from the support of a number of older players and ex-players who are generally on hand to assist in individual and personal development.
