Welcome
We are a friendly club who consider the off pitch antics to be as important as the playing of the game. We encourage a family atmosphere at our clubhouse and like to make rugby accessible to all. Our club is constantly growing and new members are always welcomed.
We currently have 2 senior teams, a vets side, 10 junior sides, a colts side and started a ladies side last season. Our long term ambition is to build a clubhouse at our homeground to replace our existing changing rooms.
Our first team currently plays in the Devon and Cornwall league.
Our philosophy at the club is “fun first, winning second”. As coaches we use praise and encouragement to motivate the children to do well. Learning new skills and practicing them through fun activities gives children the confidence to participate in a larger team situation. I am pleased to say that most children who come along to give it a try, are keen to carry on and turn up to events weekly, rain or shine. Parental involvement in the club is highly valued and encouraged.
