FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
WHEN DO WE PLAY?
Sunday mornings, normally kick off is about 11:00 am however you should check with team coaches.
WHEN DO WE TRAIN?
Again Sunday morning when that team does not have any fixtures. Some teams train on weekday evenings
you should check with your coach for details. Different teams train at different times, this information should
be on team pages - if not, ask your coach to e-mail me,.
WHAT TO BRING
Boots / Gum shield are essential
Black shorts to play in
Track suit so you can keep warm (option but useful in cold weather)
Playing Shirts are provided by the club, some teams have kit sponsored.
Change of clothing, in the case of older players you should be prepared to wear shirt / tie after changing at the end of fixtures. Again see your coach for more details.
WHO DO I CONTACT?
Please click on the club contacts section, on the side menu, you can then e-mail or phone an individual coach for the age group you are interested in joining,
if there are problems or that age group does not have any contact details please make contact with
Dave Hodgetts – Junior secretary on 01803 400562.
WHAT FORMS DO I NEED?
If you are already registered with the rfu then you only need a club registration form, these will either be sent or
are available from Gil Fox.
HOW DO I UPDATE TEAM PAGES?
Contact Paul Sutton - Under 7's coach by Email ONLY
With details of what you want updated, e.g
for results it must read
date - fixture - result - score, as per fixture list on individual page
and also include the team e.g under 14
I can then update the website page in due time.
If you make the subject header clearly team name website info - I will know which team page to update.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
TEAM MANAGERS
TO ARRANGE THIS AND
NOT
MY JOB TO CHASE PEOPLE UP
NO INFO - NO UPDATE - SIMPLE AS THAT. SORRY DON'T HAVE TIME TO CHASE PEOPLE.
YOU CAN DELEGATE THIS TASKS TO SOMEONE RELIABLE, GIVEN MOST KIDS CAN USE E-MAIL THERE SHOULD BE NO
SHORTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO CAN BE ASKED TO E-MAIL RESULTS IN.
MY E-MAIL IS
zleap@zleap.net
I DO NOT want results etc scribbled down on bits of paper, which will simply end up lost.
WHY DO THE TABLES LOOK MESSED UP?
I am using a program called txt2tags to create a source file which is then parsed by txt2tags to produce the
html code, errors will be made, but my viewpoint is you can see dates / fixtures
As results get typed in to the table it should start looking like a nice neat table. as I will make sure the actual
html code is right (i can edit the page source to do this)
Please do not tell me its messed up, I know there are a few problems,
