We Need Players. We are a successful Section of the Club, but what is holding us back from the League above is our strength in depth. If you would like to join us you will be more than welcome.
Never played before, not sure if it's your thing?
Just turn up on a Wednesday evening and meet the team,
we'll make you feel welcome and hopefully persuade you to stick around!

The committee meets once a month and minutes will be available for the whole
team to review. If you have any issue you would like discussed please mention

Training
Training is held at Paignton RFC on a Wednesday evening, 7:00-8:30pm
(please ensure you are changed and ready to start at 7.00).
Wear whatever you feel comfortable with (but not your best stuff as you will get muddy)
e.g. shorts/tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt/sweatshirt. Trainers are best for pre-season training
when the ground is hard, but rugby/football boots will be required once the ground gets softer.
Gum shields will be required.
Bring a drink of some kind (water/squash is advised).
Anyone who is likely to be lifted in lineouts or participating in scrums should ensure they
are wearing appropriate shorts (proper rugby shorts are best).
Games
All games are played on a Sunday, kick-off is usually either 2.30 or 3pm. We play
approximately once a fortnight, although this inevitably changes throughout the
season as we may have to reschedule previously cancelled games.
Towards the end of the season we may enter a 7's tournament if there is
sufficient interest. A meal will be provided after all games.
Kit
The club will provide playing shirts and socks. Team shorts will be provided on payment of a £5.00 deposit.
After a game Paignton Ladies polo shirts should be worn (order through Staff).
Registration
Membership of Paignton RFC is required. This costs £25.00 per year and should be paid
directly to the club by 1st September. RFUW membership is also required before you are
eligible to play. This costs £11.00 per year and should be paid to the Registration
Secretary by 1st September. Subs of £2.00 are payable for each game and £1.00 per training session.
