What is your proudest moment in life?
Running home from work last Wednesday – I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it
What is your proudest moment in Rugby?
Scoring the winning try against Hucklecoat, in front of about 200 of their nasty supporters, on a horrible wet and windy day when we had been under the cosh all match – to put Old Tiffs through to the quarter final of the National cup (which we then lost!). That, or wiping the floor with Ampleforth School in the last 16 of the Rosslyn Park 7’s – going on to reach the final (and then losing it) – after all their fans had sat in the stand singing school songs before kick off. They weren’t signing after about 3 minutes.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
As an 8-year-old, going over to stroke a large Alsatian dog, whilst waiting in a queue to get on a ferry with about 200 people watching, only for the dog to start dry humping me forcing me to stumble backwards and step in it’s shit. Great. That, or the time I was the drunkest person at our house party in the house at Grists – the less said about that the better.
If you were down to your last £10, what would you spend it on?
Cheese, or steak, or pizza, or bacon sanwiches….or…..
Out of the Old Tiff Rugby players, which 3 would you least like to be stuck on a deserted island with?
