What is Seal of Approval ? - Guide for clubs
Community Rugby has introduced the Active Sports ` Seal of Approval ' accreditation programme as a method of examining, maintaining and improving the provision of rugby in the youth section of an Active Sports rugby club.
Building upon current good practice, the accreditation aims to recognise the effort and achievement of those clubs that reach, maintain and improve on the required standard of a club committed to the Active Sports programme.
Sport England has worked with NGB's to develop core criteria for clubs - to set standards to which they should aspire
NGB's have adopted these criteria within their own development and accreditation programmes. All clubs work through their NGB to gain Clubmark recognition
The development of Clubmark by Sport England has two main objectives:
to ensure that NGB accreditation programmes contain the core criteria of safe, effective and child friendly clubs
to enable parents/carers and sports professionals to recognise an accredited club through common branding
