SHIRTS/ JUMPERS/ TOPS
Will Halford circulated order forms a while back. We have decided on the new design for Society shirts for the coming season and in response to feedback, we have gone for a new type of material. Also, there is the option of long or short sleeve (although you could be a devil and get one of each!).
After much discussion, Society jumpers are also available to order and I have to say that at the Plate and Senior Cup final, those refs in the jumpers did look extremely smart.
More info regarding kit that comes with a reduced price through sponsorship will be issued when things have been formalised
RugbyFirst
Some members will be aware that the RFU have set up a web-based system known as RugbyFirst (after many hiccups and gremlins along the way!). Included in this data base are the details of all Referee Societies. Obviously we would not enter any details about any individual (other than name) but it is intended that clubs will use RugbyFirst as their point of contact and that we would use the site to publish appointments, so some contact details for refs would ideally be needed.
