Hi everyone.
Please remember that once Claire issues the appointment sheets, then she is out of the loop and all alterations and last minute non-availabilities etc., should come directly to me.
Due to the nature of my job I cannot have a mobile with me all the time.
I can be contacted:-
· By e-mail (see County Handbook)
· Home phone but please not during the day as I am generally out, early evening is best or after 4.30pm. I will get an answer phone once I get the installation problem sorted. (Number in County Handbook)
· By text message on the mobile - anytime.
· Directly on the mobile, its steam driven and doesn’t have voice mail but only- after 1.00pm Mon to Thurs. and after 4.00pm on Friday. (Avoids work time.)

I will be out, along with all the referees, on the first and third Mondays of the month at Training meetings but I’m sure you will get through to me if you need to. Which I hope you will not need to do!!!

Expenses Notification 8/04/10
The message is from Geoff as he has had very few expenses in.
Expenses are now due for all games up to the 31st March. Can you please get your forms to Geoff by the end of this month.
Obviously there are games taking place this month and next (with League games now happening on the 8th May) so another lot of expenses will be due after the programme for this season has been completed.
For those of you now wondering what on earth you have done with your expenses form, I have attached a blank one for you!

A couple of gentle reminders.
If you have not said you are n/a and, on the appointments sheet, you have a blank week you are still assummed to be available up until 1200 on a Saturday.Its not a free week as such. The system of appointments relies on this flexibility, with changes, additional games and injuries , 9 out of 10 weeks you will still get a game.Games may even be available in Durham on a Saturday morning.
It is very frustrating for me to find out someone is no longer available when I am looking for a ref . Very frustrating.
Please ring advisers early in the week to confirm your game even if the club has not contacted you, that way they know you will contact them if the game is called off or moved.The adviser will usually follow you.
If for any reason you are not watched , when you were down to be watched, let Alan Beecroft know.
If you are injured tell me sooner rather than later , please.
If you are asked to do a game, which is not an appointed one, let me know for insurance purposes.( Midweek Jack Pellew)
Text and emails are fantastic,but if used you need to get a response otherwise how do you know someone has read it.
If its Friday night and you cannot do a game I would expect a phone call, not a text or email.
I am virtually contactable 24/7 365 so no real excuse.
Finally, please attend the Society meetings if at all possible, it is expected. They are run for your benefit, and Les and other put in a lot of time. Hopefully I will see most of you tonight at Wallsend.
