• The young referee who must have a strong wish to experience officiating.
• Parents who need to support, agree to activities, and provide transport.
• The organising body to provide scheme credibility and basic administration with funding.
• The Constituent Body for overall support.
• The Referee Society to provide full support for the mentor, with assistance to cover for regular referees and occasional referees where necessary. A junior section/membership for regular referees is advised as this gives better insurance cover and a feeling of belonging.
• Clubs and schools to provide matches for experience, and a safe, friendly environment which will encourage retention.
• The RFU who can provide support and help with training packages and resources via your RRDO.
• And the champion/mentor who will need to relate with all of the other parties to ensure that everything works smoothly and that any issues are dealt with promptly.KEY PARTICIPANTS
