Welcome to the RFU webpage for Lytchett Minster Rugby Club. We play at our ground next to the St. Peters Finger Pub in Lytchett Minster. Lytchett Minster Rugby Club is based in Dorset, but we play our rugby in Hampshire Division Two.
After Years of fund raising, Lytchett Minster now has an unrivalled new facility.

Lytchett Minster Festival of Sevens
Mayday Weekend
The Lytchett Festival of Sevens Tournament was first played in 1982. Held on the mayday weekend, teams from all over the south of England attended and have been doing so ever since. The Lytchett Minster Festival of Sevens has grown in both numbers and reputation to be the most successful sevens tournament in the South and South West of England.
The tournament has expanded and now starts on the Saturday afternoon. The weekend layout is as follows:
Saturday 3rd May 2008: Under 14's & 16's tournaments (12:00 until 17:00)
Sunday 4th May 2008: Under 19's (Colts) & Senior Ladies tournaments (10:30 until 17:00)
Monday 5th May 2008: Senior Mens tournament
More than seventy teams, plus their families, supporters, officials and sponsors (around 5,000 people) are expected to attend this year. The weekend incorporates three days of fierce competition for all age groups and genders. Combined with a barbecue, drinks marquee, snacks and souvenir merchandise, all located on Lytchett Minster Rugby Club's fantastic new pitches makes this a very good family weekend.

Lytchett Minster Youth
All of our youth age groups are now playing competitive matches with great success.
However, we can still accommodate further youth players, so if you know of anybody who could do with become more energetic, get them to come along. No experience is needed.
Lytchett Minster run Mini’s and Youth teams from Under 7 through to Under 17 training on Sunday morning, while the colts (Under 17) train on Thursday nights.
Dean Mitchell (07912 624812) is the youth co-ordinator and can provide any information that is required.
