GRFC, unlike a lot of other sports/social clubs, is open 7 days a week. The Clubhouse comprises 3 areas - the Main Hall, the Lounge Bar and the Players' Bar. The Main Hall and the Players' Bar are both available for hire, for further details and to make a booking, call 01474 534840 and ask for our convivial Steward, Karen Cushing. Or, if you are in the area, why not pop in for a swift half and a chat?
The Main Hall has a well-stocked bar, its own toilet facilities, a capacity of 250, seating area and a raised stage area large enough for all but the biggest DJ/band setup.
The Lounge Bar is the centre of the Club. A meeting place for players waiting to play and also for those that just fancy a pint! Here you will find details of upcoming social events, trophies that the Club has won over the years, the Captains' Board and First XV photos from years gone by - some of the guys in the photos may well be still at the bar!
The Players' Bar is where both home and away players/supporters gather after the game on a Saturday to forge friendships and share a pint or two in true Rugby and GRFC tradition. Despite being the smallest of the 3 bars, it will always be packed for internationals and other big games, which are shown on the huge TV.
Last but not least, the Club recently spent a large amount of money refurbishing the toilet facilities in the Lounge Bar - shiny!!!
