Matters applicable to all Sectors, Sub Committees, Advisory Groups, Task Groups and other appointed Bodies
All functions of the GRFU organisation are fully responsible to and answerable to the General Committee.
On a day to day basis the organisation is managed by the Executive Committee
The appointment of Chairman, Secretary and the composition of subcommittees and other bodies shall be approved by the General Committee on the commendation of the Executive
All bodies shall report regularly to their parent body as shown in the GRFU Organisation chart
Minutes shall be kept of all meetings and passed to the County Office for circulation
Accounts shall be kept by all Sectors and where appropriate by other bodies. Accounts will be provided to the Treasurer on a regular basis and to the Executive Committee on request
Financial control, Budgetary control, payments and receipts will be through the GRFU Treasurer
Terminology
To avoid awkward terms, the main business areas of the GRFU are called Sectors. These may have several Sub-Committees (permanent), Working groups (ad hoc), Task groups (?) and other bodies reporting to them.
