Touchline - The official newspaper of the RFU and RFUW

 Tuesday May 17, 2011

Dear Tricia,

It’s a busy time as the season draws to a close and the May Touchline now available online reflects that:

As the Rugby World Cup approaches, the RFU is launching the Choose Rugby  campaign with resources to support local recruitment

There’s a 2-for-1 offer on £25 tickets for the England BaaBaas match at Twickenham and details of the Churchill Cup to be battled for on home turf in June. Championship clubs are also being encouraged by the RFU to produce English Qualified Players

There’s good news about the Bradford & Bingley Bumble Bees squad which combines able bodied players and those with physical and mental problems and the national finals of the Moderate Learning Difficulties Tag Festival, proving that rugby really is a game for all

Jonny Wilkinson’s old club Farnham RUFC take no less than 687 on their minis tour, while Whitgift retain the Daily Mail RBS Cup, RGS holding off brave Truro for the U15 Cup. All this and more with referees also at the top of their game.
