Why Aerate? Matches, training and mowing all push soil particles together, causing compaction and eliminating soil pore space. This increases water-logging risk, reduces plant root development and leads to bare areas on the pitch. Deep tine aeration relieves compaction, reintroducing structure to the soil and improving air and water movement. Result – A healthier pitch!
