Terms of Reference
Coaching Sector
· To organise and publish a Schedule of Coaching Award Courses for all levels of the game each season.
· The organisation and monitoring of coaching and coaching courses at all levels within the county.
· Liaison with and assistance to clubs, colleges and schools on coaching matters.
· The monitoring of clubs, in their provision of suitably qualified coaches, in line with RFU guidelines.
· To respond to coaching needs within the county.
· To support the representative rugby sub Committees in the appointment of managers and coaches.according to the defined procedure
· Liaison with educational establishments on all aspects relating to coaching.
· Consultation and liaison with the Rugby Development Officers and their Advisory Groups
· The development of talented coaches in order to ensure they have the opportunity to maximise their potential.
· To maintain an up to date database of coaches and their qualifications.
· To inform the Youth and Senior Playing personnel of suitably qualified coaches to meet county needs.
· To produce a long term Strategic Plan for the development of coaching in the county.
