Formby A.T.L.A.S.
A.T.L.A.S. Formby is committed to providing the next generation of community volunteers in a safe and secure environment within the grassroots sporting environment.
The project has four main targets which in turn have further associated links and include:

Develop sports people and athletes including identifying suitable clubs, training, coaching, and developing knowledge, disability sports, and skill identification. (CYPP P1)

Developing coaches including refereeing, legal, experience, finance, resources and qualifications. (CYPP 9/10)

Developing opportunities including meeting new people, trying new things, going to new places and base information. (CYPP2/3)

Developing people including education, social and emotional aspects of learning, every child matters, qualifications, mentor system and young volunteer programme. (CYPP8/11/12)
A.T.L.A.S. will employ sessional coaches throughout the scheme and will continue to apply for various funding streams which will compliment the ethos and objectives to ensure it promotes social inclusion and offers everyone in the community an opportunity to take part in sport and activities in line with the governments programme Change4Life.
