- Cost per person: - £180.00 including VAT cheques payable to “RFD Ltd” & must accompany application form.
- Applications will only be accepted for those coaches who have demonstrated attendance at continuous personal / professional development (coaching seminars, conferences) and are subject to approval from RFU. (Please add dates and areas covered on your application form)
- Hold a UKCC RFU Level 1 Coaching Award or equivalent
- Applications will only be accepted from coaches who have attended a practical Rugby Ready Workshop and applications should be accompanied with a copy of the candidate’s Rugby Ready Certificate as proof of attendance. To book onto one of the Rugby Ready courses shown below please contact:

- Coaches will be required to have an up top date technical knowledge and be able to coach the following as applicable to the 15-a-side game.
Scrummage, Lineout, Restarts, Backline Play, Contact Skills, Defence/ Attack, Turn-over/Counter-attack
- Coaches will be required to demonstrate skills relating to communication, planning, effective coaching and coaching styles, health and safety, action planning and player profiling
- Coaches will be required to submit a number of home study tasks for assessment as part of the course programme including;
Planning and delivering practical sessions, Fitness for Rugby, Nutrition for Rugby, Core Skills, Laws of Game
- Courses will be closed at a maximum of 32 candidates.
- Cancellation and transfer fees can be found on the course application forms.
A place on the course will only be confirmed on receipt of a fully completed and approved application form with attached payment and providing space is available.
