Cumbria Rugby Cycling Challenge
Dear Colleague
I am writing to inform you that over the weekend of the 8th 9th and 10th of July the professional staff of Cumbria Rugby Union will be attempting a bike ride around every rugby club in the County. We are taking on this challenge in aid of; ‘The Sick Children’s Trust’ who provide home from home accommodation for families with children in hospital and need to be close by for support and care. At each rugby club we will be looking to attempt a small challenge such as a drop goal competition or something along those lines. I am writing to inform you on our plans and a request to support our efforts. This may be a good opportunity to host an event over the summer break and get your club members together before the season.
As a final request, If any members of your club enjoy their cycling they are more than welcome to come and join us on a leg of the journey, half day or full day. Sponsorship can be given via the just giving site on;
