Club Development
- Keswick RFC received the National Seal of Approval Award from the RFU the presentation was made by RFU President John Owen in front of a packed clubhouse. Keswick U17’s played Consett on the evening and put on an excellent display. http://www.keswickrugbyclub.co.uk/club-news.html
- Westmorland Barbarians played their last game of the season against Keswick RFC in a close encounter at Ambleside. It was a great midweek opportunity for individuals to watch the newly formed Ba Ba’s in action. Keswick eventually won the fixture but apart from a few unforced errors the game was outstanding.
- After assisting with a Rural Multi Skills Club as a guest Coach Trevor Richardson recruited 3 new players for Wigton RUFC from the locality. The players have trained regularly of the past few weeks and are looking to sign up for the 2010/11 Season.

Facilities
- Cumbria Facility Priorities for 2010 have been decided through the NW Facilities Programme. Wigton RUFC will receive support for their pitch drainage scheme having raised a large amount of funding themselves from local sources.
- Egremont RUFC have started the repair and additional work to their facility after the floods in November. The clubhouse has been out of commission since the river Ehen burst its banks but the new design looks a promising income generator through facilities for hosting parties / functions and also coach development events.
