The Cheltenham Saracens are pleased to announce that after protracted talks with the Cheltenham Borough Council we have now agreed a long lease of the building at the above address.
Up to now we have we have made renovations to provide
Two Pitches on site
4 changing rooms
Shower room
Referees room
Weights room
Committee room
Kitchen
Club House and Bar
Projector for screening DVD and Live Sport
In future all post match hospitality will take place here, we also have a large car park and pitches on site.
This is where training takes place commencing at 19-00hrs on Tuesday's and Thursday's. This is also where we play all our home fixtures. Training for the 2011/12 season is now up and running under the guidance of our coach Peter Buxton (Gloucester) and this years captain
Nick Hamby.
After the success of last season which resulted in promotion to Gloucester Div 1 Winning Division 5 of the Merit Table and also the resurection of the third team after many years we will welcome all new Players to the club who can be assured of good rugby and an active social life.
Future Projects
Outside upstairs Patio with a good view of the first team pitch. This project is ongoing. Access through Patio Doors to the Patio has been installed and at this moment guard rails are being erected. We hope to have this facillity completed before the start of the season.
