The Club can offer excellent facilities for a variety of functions from those small in size up to around 120 people. We regularly cater for birthdays. weddings receptions and funeral teas and other family occasions such as birthdays and other anniversaries of note.
On the corporate front we are able to facilitate small conferences adapted to suit the needs of individual organisations.
There is a fully licensed bar that can be open if necessary until 1.00 am with the premises closing at 1.30 am. We specialize in cask ales and other fine beers, lagers, wines and spirits. Such is our reputation for the supply of excellent ales, Carlisle RFC features highly in the Campaign for Real Ale (Cumbria Branch) activities. On more than one occasion, our Club has been voted the best in the locality by the CAMRA membership.
Catering is not a problem. All types of mouth watering fare can be supplied 'in house' or if you wish we can direct you an approved caterer. However, if you wish to can arrange catering to suit your own particular needs'
To hire our facilities all you need to do is call in during the evening (after 7.00 pm) and fill out an application form and pay the appropriate fees. Once your application has been approved you will get written confirmation to enable you to proceed with your arrangements.
At the moment private functions are £50 with a further £20 payable when the facilities are hired by non - members.
Corporate hire charges are by arrangement and dependent on what is needed by the client.
