Seniors
As a highly recognised club within the County of Hertfordshire we put out five Senior sides most Saturdays against opposition in and around the South East of England, on some occasions we also manage to field a sixth team.
The 1st XV currently play in London One which is of a very high standard, we also take part in National and County Cup competitions and enter a team into the County Sevens tournament which takes place annually. The team currently boasts a strong squad of players lead by an organised and experienced management team.
The Second, Third, Fourth & Fifth XV's play in their own leagues and enter a variety of Cup competitions. Having a large number of teams gives the opportunity for players of all standards, whether your the next Neil Back or just want to enjoy the sport at a level you feel comfortable with.
To play for the Senior sides you must be a fully paid member of the Club and training for these teams takes place on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Silver Leys.
The cost of membership is unchanged this season from last- although we have slightly changed the rationale under which you part with your cash. Senior playing rate is £90 but this is now made up of a £45 fee and £45 donation. this change allows us to take advantage of our CASC status and cliam back from the Tax man the Gift aid from the donation element. In effect boosting our income without asking you fro more money
If you would like further information on our Senior sides you may either contact a particular captain or the Chairman of Selectors, Chris 'Diddy' Byatt.
