To the victors the spoils- eventually!
Last seasons victorious U17A Squad finally got their hands on the Herts / Middlesex League One Champions trophy on Sunday 20th September 2009 when it was presented to them by Club Chairman Perry Oliver.(pictured with the squad)
Due to other commitments the squad were unable to attend the presentation and celebration organised by the league at the Saracens home -Vicarage Road watford at the end of last season and so had to make do with a considerable more low key event in the Rose room at the club house.
The presentation took place before the now Colt players were due, rather ironically to play Fullerians against whom it was that they won the trophy in the last game of the 2008/09 season.
Congratulations to Captain Ashley Boyle, all his fellow players, Glen Townsend U17 coach and Mike Boyle U17A manager on a very satisfying end to their youth rugby careers.
