Formed in 1971, our catchment area covers the town of Bingham and surrounding villages.
We run a 1st XV, Vets and Junior XV sides on a regular basis. The senior team currently playing in the Security Plus Pennant league4.
We train on a Tuesday Night at the club from 7:30pm until 9:00ish followed by a drink and a chat in the clubhouse.
Facilities include: Club House with full bar & kitchen, 1st and 2nd XV pitches, a separate dedicated floodlit training area.
Any player new to the area or already in the area and simply wants to come down and join in is most welcome; we are an open and friendly club and want to expand and build on a successful 2006 - 07 season where we were winners of Security Plus Pennant league 5. We would like to be able to consistently put out a 2nd XV and provide opportunities for our younger members.
We were fortunate enough during 2004 to be included on the countrywide tour of the World Cup - see picture below - and pride ourselves on being a friendly, family club encouraging enjoyment of the game and all that comes with it. We organise numerous social events throughout the year, including the now famous:
Bingham Beer Festival
The Festival is scheduled to tie in with the Last Friday & Saturday weekend of the Six Nations
so games can be watched whilst sampling.
Serious or social, give us a call and we will see you on Tuesday night & match days - supporters are always welcome on the touchline and to join in the banter in the clubhouse afterwards.
