Dec 26, 2011, annual game played in memory of two former Ampthill youth who died far too young, over £400 was raised with both the Meningitis Trust and a cancer charity benefiting.
Given that this video is public it was felt inappropriate to include the graphic images associated with Burnsie's debagging, however, any who missed the spectacle may like to consider further donations which may inspire a private showing :-)

Former Mini & Youth players get selected. |
| |
Ex-Ampthill Youth Player Josh Basset made his senior debut for Bedford Blues in the Anglo Welsh Cup against Swaansea and after scoring a try was again selected for his Championship debut against Birmingham and Solihull. Josh scored again. Congratulations from all at Ampthill Josh..
Furthermore, Josh is joined in the current Bedford Academy back line by no fewer than three other of Ampthill's Mini & Youth system, Winger Tom Chellew, Full Back Dean Adamson and Centre Felix Streeton. Good Luck to all the boys, who knows, we may see them in the Ampthill senior shirt one day soon. We have further talented players coming along the Ampthill Mini & Youth production line with two lads currently undergoing England trials at the under 16's level.

Boxing Day Charity Match |
| |
The aim was to raise as much money as possible for the charities connected with the game - The Meningitis Trust and a Cancer Charity. The match has been going for about 12 years now and has raised well over £1,500. The turn-out this year was a little low - blame it on Global Warming! The collection total after the raffle monies had been counted was £202.00. Thank you to all that participated, donated raffle prizes and organised the occasion.
Next year we hope that the weather will be better.
