The Metropolitan Police (Hayes) RFC was formed over 70 years ago, when local serving Police Officers who played for their Divisional sides on a Wednesday decided to form a Saturday rugby side.
We were formerly known as the Metropolitan Police 4 District side but with several organisational changes over the years we are now called the Metropolitan Police (Hayes) RFC which emanates from the title of our home ground that of Metropolitan Police Hayes Sports and Social Club otherwise known locally as The Warren.
We are currently actively recruiting new and younger players, both from within and outside the police service. If you are interested in playing for us please send an email to one of the contacts shown below and we will get back to you with more information. We currently only field a 1st XV but it is our aim to recruit and retain enough players to form a sustainable 2nd XV during this coming season.
We currently play in the KCRFU Merit Table Competition and have a full and comprehensive fixture list for the coming season.
